--------- SPORT SPECIFIC RULES ---------

Football
NFL & NCAA -- 55 minutes of play needed for wagering purposes. Overtime counts for both team and total bets.

Basketball
NBA -- 43 minutes of play needed for wagering purposes. Overtime counts for both side and total bets.

NCAA -- 35 minutes of play needed for wagering purposes. Overtime counts for both side and total bets.

Hockey
NHL -- 55 minutes of play needed for wagering purposes. Overtime counts.

Wagering on hockey is done by laying or taking goals and money odds. The minus (-) indicates the favorite; the plus (+) indicates the underdog.

Let's say [Bruins + 1/2 Even] [Kings - 1/2 -1.40] You must lay 1/2 goal and $140 to win $100 on the Kings. You must wager $100 and take 1/2 goal to win $100 on the Bruins.

Baseball
MLB -- Games are official after 5 innings of play or 4.5 innings if the home team is leading. If a game is subsequently called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team ties the score or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning in which case the winner will be determined by the score at the time the game is called. Extra innings count for both team and total bets.

When wagering on total runs or run lines, the game must go the regulation 9 innings or 8.5 innings if the home team is leading, otherwise it will constitute a "No Action" wager and all money will be credited accordingly. Wagers on total runs will be "No Action" if a pitcher change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch.

Baseball wagers are accepted as "Listed." In the event of a pitching change prior to the game, all wagers on a team are considered "No Action" All wagers will be refunded to the customers account. For betting purposes, each team's starting pitcher is defined as the pitcher that throws the first pitch.

Any and all baseball series wagers must have all 3 games played by the end of a specified date for the wager to have action. If all 3 games are not played by that specified date, then all wagers are "No Action", regardless if one team has 2 wins. All three games must be official as per our rules on what constitutes an official result.

All baseball props must go the full 9 (8 1/2) innings unless otherwise stated. They also must start the listed pitchers.

Wagering on baseball is done by laying or taking money odds. The minus (-) indicates the favorite; the plus (+) indicates the underdog. On money odds whenever there is a minus (-) you lay that amount to win a dollar; where there is a plus (+) you get that amount for every dollar wagered.

For example [Dodgers +1.50] [Phillies -1.60] you must lay $160 to win $100 or $16 to win $10 on the Phillies. You must lay $100 to win $150 or $10 to win $15 on the Dodgers.

Soccer (European Football)
All football bets will be settled on 90 minutes play. This includes any time added by the Referee in respect to injuries and other stoppages. Extra Time, Golden Goals and Penalty Shoot-Outs do not count.

To place and win a bet, you must correctly predict the result of at least one game, indicating if the game will be a home win, a tie or an away win. To win a parlay bet each of your selections must be correct. Keep in mind that for betting purposes a game can end in a tie, and when that happens, only bets placed on the tie will be winning bets. All other bets will be losing bets.

Bets taken on "first goal scorer" will be void if the player does not take part in the game or comes on after a goal has already been scored. Bets taken on "last goal scorer" will be void if the player does not play or come on as a substitute.

If any match is abandoned or postponed, all bets will be void unless the relevant market result has already happened. For example, if a goal has already been scored the "first goal scorer" betting will stand.

When a venue is changed, bets will stand unless the game is to be played at the original away team's ground in which case all bets will be void.

Golf
Should a tournament be shortened or otherwise affected due to weather conditions, the official result will be used when settling, regardless of the number or rounds played. However, should there be no further play after a bet is struck that bet will be void.

For match-up betting all of the players listed in the match-up bet offer must tee-off for your bet to have action. The player with the most completed holes wins. If the players complete the same number of holes, then the player with the lowest score wins. If the players are still tied then the wager will be "No Action" and all monies will be refunded. If both golfers in a match-up are in a playoff then (a) the winner of the play-off wins the match-up and (b) all other playoff participants tie each other.

Single Day match-ups are wagers on the particular day's 18-holes. Holes played as part of a completion from the previous day's round, and playoff holes are not included in Single Day match-ups Should a day's round be shortened, or otherwise affected due to weather conditions, and the round is continued the next day, the full 18 holes will be considered in determining the outcome of the bet (even if they are played over two days). If both members of the match-up do not complete the full 18 holes, all bets are "No Action". If both players end the 18 holes in a tie, the bet is considered a "No Action" wager.

Motorsport
In the event that the driver or team you bet on for the outright championship does not start the race, your bet is considered actioned (no refunds on the bet). The start of any motor race is defined as the signal to start the warm-up lap.

The official winner at the conclusion of the race will be the winner for betting purposes.

Both drivers in a match up wager must start the race for the bet to have action.

Races must be run within one week of the scheduled date for your bet to have action.

Cricket
If a match is shortened due to weather or otherwise, bets will be governed by the official competition rules.

If a match results in a tie, bets will be "No Action"

Rugby
If any match is abandoned or postponed (i.e. not played on the scheduled day) all bets will be void, except bets on the first try scorer if a try has been scored prior to abandonment.

Where a venue is changed, bets will stand unless the game is to be played at the original away team's ground in which case all bets will be void.

Bets taken on 'first try scorer' will be void if the player does not take part in the game or comes on after a try has already been scored.

Tennis
In the event that a match has started and has not completed, the player progressing to the next round will be deemed the winner.

In the event of any of the following circumstances taking place all bets will stand (a) a change of playing surface, (b) a change of venue or (c) a change from indoor court to outdoor court or vice versa.

In tennis Set Betting, if the match does not start or is incomplete due to either players' incapacity or disqualification, then all wagers are no action.

Boxing
Fights must run within one week of the specified date for your bet to have action.

A full round is only considered for wagering purposes when the bell sounds signifying the end of said round. The official stopping of a round before the sounding of the bell does not constitute a full round. If the fight ends in a 12 round draw, all bets lose. If one or both fighters fail to answer the bell for a round, the fight is judged to have finished in the previous round. If the scheduled number of rounds is changed, all bets on pick the round are void.

Horse Racing
All bets are action regardless of injuries, scratches, and/or in the event a horse does not start or complete the designated race.

Other Sports
All other events that involve a scheduled length of play or time limit must play to their conclusion or have five minutes or less of the scheduled playing time remaining when the contest concludes to be considered official for wagering purposes.

--------- WAGER DEFINITIONS AND RULES ---------

General Rules | Betting Limits | Sport Specific Rules | Wager Definitions and Rules

Point Spread Wagers (Straight Wagers)
The team wagered on must win by the point spread given at the time of the wager.

The odds are $1.10 to win $1.00 (-110) unless otherwise indicated. Games that tie when taking the point spread into consideration are "No Action" and money is re-deposited back into your account. Due to changing events, the point spread may fluctuate at any time.

You wager $110.00 on Miami -7 to beat Buffalo +7

If Miami wins by more than 7 points you win $100.00 so your total payout including the initial wager would be $210.00. If Miami only wins by 7 points then the game is considered "No Action" and your initial wager is returned to you. If Miami wins by less than 7 points you lose your wager.

Money Line Wagers
The team wagered on just has to win the game. The amount you lay or take for each game may vary. The money line that is read at the time of your wager is the money line you keep regardless of any line movement.

You wager on Miami -160 at Buffalo +260. If you laid $160.00 and Miami wins, you win $100.00. If you laid $100.00 on Buffalo, you win $260.00

Totals
The combined score of both teams for games wagered on, all totals lay $1.10 to win $1.00 (-110) unless it is otherwise indicated. You can wager on the total being OVER or UNDER the odds posted for that game/event.

You lay $220.00 on the OVER in the Miami/Buffalo game. The total for the game is 45. If both teams' combined score is more than 45, you win $200.00. If the combined score equals 45 the game is considered "No Action" and your original wager is returned. If the combined score is less than 45, you lose the wager.

Half-time
All wagers must go the full half for action (first-half and second-half). All half-time wagers are calculated the same as a straight wager unless otherwise indicated. There are no teaser plays or buying of points on half-times. On half time wagers the overtime period is included as part of the 2nd half.

Parlays (also known as Multiples)
A parlay is a bet of 2 or more teams (selections) or propositions in no particular order. All teams wagered on in a parlay must win. If there is a tie or invalid selection, the parlay reverts down to the next lowest number for payoff. For example if you select 4 teams, and one ties, the parlay becomes a three team parlay. For a 2 team parlay -- a tie and win becomes a straight bet (-110) payout.

No parlay bets will be accepted where individual "selections" are connected. For example, one leg of a parlay is for Sampras to beat Henman in the 4th round of Wimbledon and the second or additional part of the parlay is for Sampras to win the overall Wimbledon title. The match forms part of the overall tournament and is therefore 'connected'. In the same way, you cannot parlay the over of the first half of a football game with the over of the total game, because the two are 'connected'

You want to make a 5 team parlay

Miami -7 New York +3 Seattle -4 Denver -10 San Francisco -8
If all these games win then you win at 20-1 odds. If only 1 team loses then the entire parlay loses.

Teasers
A Teaser is a selection of two or more teams in one wager in which the point spread is adjusted in your favour. The number of teams selected and the number of points selected determines the payout odds. A "Tie" or "No Action" and a "Win" on a two team teaser shall constitute a "No Action" wager. A "Tie" or a "No Action" and a "Loss" on a two team teaser shall constitute a "Losing" wager. Ties on a three or more team teaser shall revert to the next lowest betting bracket. For example a tie on a three team teaser becomes a two team teaser.

An example of a teaser wagers is as follows. Let's say you wish to choose three football teams: Denver -7, New York -3 and Chicago +15. The payout of your wager is dependent upon how many points you wish to receive.

For this example let's choose a 3 team 7 point teaser. The chart below lists this wager as 12/10. This means you will win $12 for every $10 that you wager. The point spreads are adjusted as follows:

Denver -7 plus the adjusted seven points = Even
New York -3 plus the adjusted seven points = +4
Chicago +15 plus the adjusted seven points = +22

Therefore if each and every one of the three teams wins against the adjusted spread, you win $12 for every $10 you wager.

Futures and Propositions
Future wagers are based on the outcome of events that happen each year. All wagers are final. There will be no payouts until the conclusion of the specified season.

Proposition plays are wagers based on the outcome of events. Odds change daily and all wagers are considered action for the odds quoted at the time of the wager.

In the event that the selection (person, team, or other) you bet upon does not participate in the game/event due to injury, etc., there will be no refunds.

Dead Heat Rule
In the event of a dead heat (a tie), stakes will be divided by the number of selections dead heating with the divided stake settled at full odds; remaining stakes are lost. If the tie was a betting option, then the dead heat rule does not apply. The Dead Heat Rule only applies to Future Wagers. For example, if there is a 3 way tie for the Top Scorer in a Football game, then your winnings are calculated by taking your stake, dividing it by 3, and multiplying that amount by the odds on your betting ticket.

European Prices (Odds)
European prices work as follows: let's say the team you want to bet on is offered at 4.00. That means that for every $1 you bet on them, you get back $4 if they win. This would give you a profit of $3 plus your $1 stake returned. If you lose, you lose your $1. If the team is offered at 1.60 and you win, you only make $0.60 profit on your $1 stake and you get your $1 stake back.

European prices are different from the the North American style of odds. In North America, money lines are used to determine the line.

In North America, a team that is +140 would be a 40 point underdog. This means that for every $100 wagered the bettor would win $140. For this to be true in a European style of betting, the odds would be 2.40 - meaning that for $100 wagered the bettor would win $140. The 2.40 represents the entire amount wagered and won by the bettor.

When calculating combination bets (parlays) using European odds you simply take the price of each event that you wagered on and multiply them together.

For example, let's say you wish to wager on Arsenal at 2.5, Manchester at 1.7 and Liverpool at 2.1. A combination bet of all three teams would pay 2.5 x 1.7 x 2.1 = 8.93. If you wager amount is $100 then the payoff would be $100 x 8.93 = $893 (this includes your original stake, so your winnings are $893 - $100 = $793).
